Health Savings Account limits for 2024

Every year, the IRS announces inflation adjustments for Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and High Deductible Health Plans (HDHP). These adjustments include maximum HSA contributions, minimum deductible amounts, and maximum out-of-pocket (OOP) limits. The new 2024 adjusted amounts are here! Here are the inflation adjusted amounts for 2024:

  • Minimum Individual Deductible: $1,600

  • Minimum Family Deductible: $3,200

  • Maximum Individual Out-Of-Pocket (OOP): $8,050

  • Maximum Family OOP: $16,100

  • Maximum Individual Contribution: $4,150

  • Maximum Family Contribution: $8,300

  • Minimum Individual Embedded Deductible: $3,200

  • Minimum Family Embedded Deductible: $3,200
